Managing Connect Portal Requests

This article shows you how to efficiently handle and resolve incoming recipient requests from the Connect Portal, all via the web dashboard.

Connect Portal allows recipients to request actions on their items.

Action Alerts

  • Once the recipients sends the 'Scan and Send' request, users will get a notification via the alert icon, 🔔located at the top right.
  • Select the alert icon to view the most recent action item requested by recipients. By clicking on this option, you will be directed to the specific item for which the recipient has requested action.

    Scan and Send

  • When the recipient requests 'Scan and Send' the users can send attachments from the web dashboard.

  • Click on the 'Scan and Send' button and a pop up window will open allowing user to attach files.

Please remember that for now only .png image files can be attached.

  • Once the action is completed, recipient will get a notification email and the item status will change to holding.

Forward

  • For item forward request, the recipient will provide the details of where they want to forward the item.

  • Once the users clicks on the forward icon the details will show on the pop up window

  • Click on continue and the next window will require the forwarding details, such as carrier and tracking number. Users can also attach images of the item.

  • Once you have entered all the necessary information click on continue and the item will move to outbound section of the app, from where users can dispatch it.

Hold

  • Click on the Hold icon and the pop up window will verify if you want to hold the item.

  • Click on 'Hold' button at the bottom right of the pop up screen to confirm.

Destroy

  • For spam or unwanted letter mail, recipient can request the destroy function. Once the item has been destroyed the users can click on the destroy button and update the status to destroyed.

Delivery

  • To indicate that the item has been delivered, simply select the green "Mark as Delivered" button and confirm your action in the pop-up window.

Pickup

  • Users can effortlessly indicate that the item has been picked by selecting the green "Mark as Picked" button and confirming their action in the pop-up window.
