Scanning Inbound Items

You can scan Inbound items by tapping on the camera icon.

Scanning Items

Follow the steps below: 

  1. Tap on the Camera icon. 

  2. Select the Scan Inbound mode and scan the items by tapping on the capture button.

Up to 50 items can be scanned in one go. Once you have scanned the items, they will move into the Complete section or Scan Issues section.

Complete Section

When the app has successfully picked up the Barcode and Text from the item label it will link the scanned item to the correct recipient moving to the Complete section.

Follow the steps below: 

  1. Tap on the item to Edit the item details like adding Notes, Labels, or Location.
  2. Click on Notify to check-in the item and notify the recipient of the item's arrival.
  3. If there are multiple items, tap on the Notify All button in the complete section to check-in all the items at once and notify the recipients. 

Scan Issues

If the app is unable to match the item details to a recipient, it moves the scan to the Scan Issues section. However, you can manually match the scanned item with a recipient. 

Follow the steps below: 

  1. Tap on the Scan Issues tab. 

  2. Tap on the Item.

  3. Assign the item to a recipient based on the suggestions or search for a recipient to assign the item.

  4. Click on Notify to check in the item.

Item Pick up

The recipient after receiving the notification email can pick up the item from the front-desk of the mailroom.

Follow the steps below: 

  1. Move to the Pick Up section of the app. 

  2. Tap on the recipient's name to move into their list of items. 

  3. Tap Select to Check out multiple packages at once.  

  4. Acquire the recipient's Signature or capture an Image to check-out the item. 

In case of a recipient is not present in the building, an alternate recipient can Pick-up the item on behalf of that recipient.
