Package and Recipient Notices: Setup and Usage

Notices allow the mailroom team to proactively manage the request by the recipients. Instead of relying on manual processes to carter item handling requests.

Setup Notice:

To setup a Notice, please follow these steps

  • Go to the 'Activity and Notices' section of the web-dashboard.
  • Click on one of the 'Notices', option.
  • Click on the 'Create' button at the top right.
  • In the new window enter the details such as, 'Recipient', 'Tracking number', of the package, 'Request', details of what to do with package.
  • Click on 'Save' on the top right to save notice once done.
  • Kindly note that in case of 'Recipient Notice', you do not need the tracking number. Instead you are required to select the 'Notice duration'.

Usage

  • By automating the handling of item requests, you can eliminate the need for manual methods. When an item is scanned and has an associated item or recipient notice, a ⚠️ icon will appear. Users can easily access the notice details by clicking the 'View Details' button, inside the Item Details screen.
